Biography
Captain Haley S. Emery, a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA), serves at the forefront of healthcare as part of the 45th Medical Group at Patrick Space Force Base, FL. In her role, she spearheads primary care management, ensuring the delivery of safe, evidence-based medical care to over 6,000 active duty personnel, reservists, guardsmen, retirees, and beneficiaries. Additionally, as the Active Duty Clinic flight commander, she leads a team of 23 members, guaranteeing both a medically ready force and a prepared medical force.
Capt. Emery’s journey began in February 2015 when she enlisted in the Air Force from Sacramento, CA. She excelled in her training, completing phase one and practical nursing technology tech schools by August 2015. During her four years as an Aerospace Medical Technician, she honed her skills across various medical settings, including the Family Health Clinic, Emergency Room, and Education and Training at the 673rd Medical Group. Her collaborative efforts extended to working closely with the 212th Rescue Squadron and the 673rd Civil Engineer Squadron (EOD). Driven by a passion for advancing her medical career, Capt. Emery pursued admission to the Interservice Physician Assistant Program, which she successfully completed in October 2021. Throughout her training, she underwent rigorous residencies at the 99th Medical Group, specializing in diverse areas such as orthopedics, general surgery, emergency room care, pediatrics, dermatology, ENT, OB/GYN, labor and delivery, and internal medicine. This extensive experience has equipped Capt. Emery with the expertise and dedication needed to provide exceptional medical care to those she serves.
